M Hotel Singapore City Centre Honours Its People

M Hotel Singapore City Centre Honours Its People

M Hotel Singapore City Centre marked two occasions in May 2026 that recognise the people behind the guest experience: International Receptionist Day and International HR Day.

International Receptionist Day, 13 May 2026

They are the first to say welcome and the last to wish guests a safe journey home. On International Receptionist Day, the hotel celebrated its Front Office team, whose professionalism and warmth shape memorable stays. Beyond checking guests in and out, receptionists ease travel worries, share dining recommendations, and remember personal preferences. As a token of appreciation, the team was treated to a bubble tea break.

International HR Day, 20 May 2026

On International HR Day, the morning began with a special breakfast for the Human Resources team. Throughout the year, the team supports colleagues across the hotel, fostering a positive workplace culture and developing talent. The day offered a chance to recognise those who consistently put people first.

Both occasions reflect a simple belief at M Hotel Singapore City Centre: people who feel valued create experiences guests remember.

Dance Nights and Match Nights at M Social Hotel New York Times Square

This season, M Social Hotel New York Times Square offers two ways to gather above the city: a monthly Latin dance night at Beast & Butterflies Times Square, and a rooftop Summer of Soccer for match days.

Buena M Social Club

Buena M Social Club is a social dance experience hosted at Beast & Butterflies Times Square, held on the second Wednesday of each month from 7PM to 10PM. Each edition opens with complimentary salsa instruction from 7PM to 8PM, followed by live percussion and a DJ. The format brings together hotel guests and locals for an evening of culture and connection, and following a successful debut, it continues to reinforce the hotel as a social hub.

Summer of Soccer

This summer, M Social Hotel New York Times Square invites guests to experience the excitement of the game with its Summer of Soccer rooftop experience. From Beast Burger Sliders and wood-fired Margherita pizzas to signature cocktails like the Golden Goal Martini and Final Whistle Paloma, guests can savour every match while taking in sweeping views above Times Square.

From the dance floor to the rooftop, M Social Hotel New York Times Square brings the city together with a vibrant season of experiences above Times Square.

M Social Hotel New York Downtown Wins NYCxDESIGN 2026

M Social Hotel New York Downtown has been recognised as a winner at the 2026 NYCxDESIGN Awards in the Hotel Lobby/Public Space category. The award celebrates excellence in design and innovation across New York City, and this recognition reflects what the hotel has built: public spaces that draw people in, hold their attention, and leave a lasting impression.

A Space That Reflects the City

The lobby and public spaces at M Social Hotel New York Downtown were designed to reflect the dynamic energy and culture of downtown Manhattan. Creativity, functionality, and social connectivity were built into the fabric of the space from the outset, fostering interaction, engagement, and memorable guest experiences while expressing the personality of the local neighbourhood.

The result is an environment that is both welcoming and unmistakably M Social.

The Project Team

Behind this recognition is a collaboration across design, operational, and brand perspectives. Rajiv Puri, Senior Vice President, Global Technical Services, Capital Projects and Sustainability, and Jay Arn Lim, Vice President, Global Technical Services and Capital Projects, led the project alongside a wider team whose dedication and shared vision shaped every aspect of the space.

For Millennium Hotels and Resorts, the NYCxDESIGN win is a reminder that exceptional hospitality begins before the first interaction: it begins with the space itself.

IGNITE! Singapore Unites the Global Sales Community

On 16 and 17 April 2026, Millennium Hotels and Resorts brought IGNITE! Singapore to two of the city’s landmark properties, inviting leisure, corporate, and MICE partners to connect with its global sales leaders across two evenings of exchange and discovery.

An Evening at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore opened the series on 16 April, hosting an immersive evening designed to demonstrate the hotel’s strengths as a venue for dynamic, high-impact business events. Guests moved through a curated journey of live culinary stations representing different regions of the world, paired with attentive service and thoughtfully orchestrated moments. A signature cocktail crafted by Adam Lee Soon Keat provided a distinctive and memorable highlight.

The Grand Finale at M Hotel Singapore City Centre

Following Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore’s successful hosting of IGNITE! Singapore, M Hotel Singapore City Centre served as the venue for the programme’s grand finale on 17 April. Set within the hotel’s Banquet Suite, the event featured three panoramic LED video walls and immersive audio experiences, providing a dynamic backdrop for the closing session. As the final chapter of IGNITE! Singapore 2026, the event reflected the hotel’s heritage-inspired hospitality while fostering meaningful cross-market dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among global sales teams.

The food programme paid tribute to Singapore’s diverse culinary heritage. Canapés ranged from an Ayam Buah Keluak Tartlet and Kaya Butter Chinese Doughnut Toast topped with fresh grated coconut, to Grilled Corn and Beetroot Feta Cheese Roll and Grilled Scallop with Braised Daikon. Live stations served Popiah and Kueh Pie Tee with homemade chilli sauce, a Seafood Pao Fan in fragrant homemade broth, and Salmon Wellington with spinach and mushroom, finished with a leek-capers cream. At the beverage station, Teh Tarik was pulled to order alongside chilled Chin Chow and freshly poured Soya Bean.

Across both evenings, IGNITE! Singapore demonstrated the breadth of Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ hospitality in the city, and the strength of its global sales network.

Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor Steps Up for Earth Day

On 22 April 2026, the team at Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor marked Earth Day by stepping outside and taking direct action to care for their local environment, coming together for a litter-picking initiative across the surrounding area.

Cleaning Up, Together

Armed with gloves and collection bags, colleagues worked side by side to remove waste from green spaces and pathways around the property, making an immediate and visible difference to the neighbourhood. The spirit of the effort was one of shared commitment: team members showing that sustainability is not an abstract ideal but something that can be acted on directly, on any given afternoon.

Small actions, taken together and with conviction, are what make a bigger difference. The team at Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor showed exactly that on Earth Day 2026.
