Meet the Q2 2026 G.E.T. Award Winners from Across the Portfolio
Across Millennium Hotels and Resorts, colleagues continue to challenge convention, embrace new ideas and find better ways to create meaningful experiences for guests, teams and communities. The Q2 2026 G.E.T. Awards celebrate the individuals and hotels that have brought the Chairman’s vision of Growth, Entrepreneurship and Transformation to life through their ideas, initiatives and achievements.
At the heart of the G.E.T. Awards is Blue Ocean thinking, creating new value, driving positive change and continually raising standards across the global portfolio. Winning hotels receive a commemorative plaque and certificate, while individual winners receive a certificate and 100,000 MyMillennium points in recognition of their achievements.
Asia
Lim Kian Liang, Operations Executive at Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore, takes the Service Excellence Award for Internal Preference. He has been a valued member of the company since March 2019, when he joined as a Banquet Assistant. Over the years he has steadily advanced through the organisation, earning promotion to Banquet Supervisor in 2023 and Operations Executive in April 2026. His progression is a testament to his dedication, capability and continued contributions to the team.

Muhammad Nafeez Bin Azlin, Associate Director, Corporate Room Sales at M Hotel Singapore City Centre, takes Best Revenue Growth Driver under Performance. Nafeez began his journey with Millennium Hotels and Resorts in 2022 as part of the former Central Sales Office, where he gained valuable experience and developed a strong foundation in sales and business development. In 2024 he continued his career journey with M Hotel Singapore City Centre, taking on new opportunities to strengthen his commercial expertise and contribute to the hotel’s business performance. His achievement in reactivating one of the hotel’s dormant partnerships generated an estimated S$1.2 million in net revenue within five months.
Individual recognition is humbling, but real growth is always a collective effort. This award is a testament to the support, trust and collaboration of the many great people I have had the privilege of working with at M Hotel Singapore City Centre.
Pongratchada Sarapoke, known as Naan, Assistant Director of Sales at M Social Hotel Phuket, takes Best Contributor to Profitability. In her one year with the hotel she has played a key role in strengthening its position within the Indian MICE market. Through her strong relationships and close collaboration with key partners, she has built a solid foundation for continued growth and success in this important segment. Her dedication and market knowledge position her well for even greater achievements ahead.

Rosy Xiao, Guest Relations Supervisor at Grand Millennium Beijing, takes Employee and Leader of the Quarter under People. Rosy joined Grand Millennium Beijing on 5 April 2024 as a Guest Relations Officer. A quick learner, she swiftly adapted to Front Office responsibilities. Combining engaging guest service with strong commercial awareness, she earned numerous positive online reviews and delivered solid results in room upselling and Zhiketong promotion. She maintains zero guest complaints and shares sales communication tips to lift team performance. Recognised for her remarkable output, she was promoted to Guest Relations Supervisor in April 2025 and took an active part in cross departmental system migration and data transition projects.
Outside work she loves sports and travelling, which energise her and inspire creative ideas for guest services. Looking ahead, she will further sharpen her professional skills, pass on practical insights to colleagues and bring fresh momentum to Front Office development.
I would like to thank Grand Millennium Beijing for my learning and growth platform. My sincere appreciation goes to department leaders for your trust, guidance and encouragement, as well as my colleagues for your support throughout my adaptation and joint efforts in guest reception. This award is not only a token of recognition but also a strong source of motivation. Zhu Liju, Floor Supervisor at Grand Millennium Beijing, takes the Service Excellence Award for External Preference. She has 15 years of service at the hotel, including 10 years as Floor Supervisor. She prioritises guest room cleanliness and consistently refines her service skills. Convinced that immaculate rooms and quality service deliver guest satisfaction, she focuses closely on hygiene details and guest communication, gaining many positive OTA reviews.
A high performing team member, she is a multiple recipient of the hotel’s Outstanding Associate Award. Outside work she loves travelling, which broadens her perspective and helps her deliver more empathetic guest oriented service. Moving forward, she will maintain strict service standards, share her housekeeping know how with colleagues and keep adding value to the hotel.
Upon learning that I have received the Service Excellence Award External, I am filled with surprise and gratitude. This award is both an encouragement and a responsibility. Going forward, I will stay true to my service commitment, strictly control room hygiene details, proactively identify guests’ needs and deliver thoughtful, personalized service. I will also share my work experience to drive collective team progress and live up to the hotel’s trust and recognition.
Farhan Niazi, Web Performance Manager with the Marketing Team at the Christchurch Support Office, takes Best Revenue Growth Driver under Performance. He has been recognised for his exceptional, data-led approach to digital performance. Through his pay-per-click strategy and website optimisation, he delivered a remarkable 7.7 times return. His ability to challenge traditional thinking and collaborate effectively with external partners has resulted in year-on-year revenue doubling, a standout result for the business.
Santana Clements, National Revenue Manager for the South Island, based at Copthorne Hotel and Resort Queenstown Lakefront, takes Best Contributor to GOP under Profitability. She has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to gross operating profit across multiple properties. Through effective revenue and yield management she has focused on maximising average daily rate opportunities and securing the most profitable business mix, with a strategic approach to pricing and inventory management.
Claudine Quiao, Duty Manager at Copthorne Hotel Wellington Oriental Bay, takes the Service Excellence Award for External Preference. She has been recognised for her unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting her team. Regularly praised by guests for going above and beyond, her calm and caring nature extends well beyond her front desk role, consistently stepping in to support other departments and her colleagues. Her dedication, teamwork and genuine care embody the very best of the service culture.
George Martin Herring, Room Attendant at M Social Hotel Auckland, takes the Service Excellence Award for Internal Preference. He has been recognised for eight years of outstanding reliability, dedication and support to his colleagues. George has built a reputation for being the person colleagues can always count on, consistently going above and beyond, often volunteering for challenging tasks and completing them efficiently without complaint. His calm, positive approach reflects the company values in the most genuine and practical way.
Jason Yao, Duty Manager at Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands, takes Employee of the Quarter under People. He has been recognised for his consistent excellence in customer service, problem-solving and team support. Those across the property value his approachability and his willingness to share knowledge and offer guidance whenever it is needed. His professionalism, integrity and genuine care for both guests and colleagues make him a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.
Michael Du Toit, Operations Manager at Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands, takes Best Corporate G.E.T. Initiative under People. He has been recognised for his exceptional leadership during The Mayfair Hotel Christchurch’s transition to the new cloud-based hotel property management system. Travelling from across the country to be on the ground throughout the changeover, he ensured minimal disruption to operations and provided comprehensive support to staff at every step. His technical expertise and commitment to the team’s success delivered a seamless transition and a lasting positive impact on the hotel’s operations and guest experience.
United Kingdom and Europe
Kellie Royle of Copthorne Hotel Plymouth takes Best Revenue Growth Driver. She has worked in hotels for just over 30 years, starting with Moat House Hotels, then Holiday Inn and Choice Hotels, and has been at Copthorne Hotel Plymouth for 12 years, the same hotel where she completed her school work experience. She has always worked in Reception, Reservations and Group Reservations.
To be nominated and put forward is an absolute honor, but to win is truly unforgettable. Thank you so much for the recognition. I will continue to grow, improve and this sets standards for future goals.
Abul Quazi of Corporate HR takes Best Corporate G.E.T. Initiative. He started his HR career as a young Business graduate and credits Millennium Hotels and Resorts with giving him that first opportunity. Nineteen years later he is still in HR and still with the company, and proudly describes himself as a boomerang employee. He left to pursue a Masters, developed himself across several well-known hospitality brands and gained new experiences, before returning to where it all started.
I feel incredibly proud and honoured. While I’ve been fortunate to help drive new ideas and initiatives, my biggest focus has always been bringing everyone along on the journey, making GET a shared mindset where innovation, continuous improvement and new thinking are part of what we do every day. This award is a proud moment for me, but it is equally a celebration of the people and culture that make innovation happen.
Elena Koreneva of The Bailey’s Hotel London Kensington takes the External Service Excellence Award. Her hospitality career began over a decade ago with Novotel, working at a large London property before expanding into diverse reservations sectors. She has since worked for a travel agency managing group bookings across Europe, and later moved into hostel reservations, where she managed individual beds rather than traditional bedrooms. She then transitioned to a corporate hotel in West London, where she progressed from Reservations Supervisor to Manager.
I am very grateful and happy to be awarded External Service Excellence Award. My journey with The Bailey’s Hotel London began just over a year ago. I am thrilled that, in such a short time, I’ve been able to make a meaningful impact and see my efforts recognized. I am incredibly thankful for my supportive and talented colleagues
Sreejith Kumar of Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor takes the Internal Service Excellence Award. His hospitality career began in 2000 with the Taj Group of Hotels in India, where he started in Food and Beverage and developed a strong passion for hospitality and service. He later moved to the UAE, gaining international experience with Kempinski and Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts across restaurants, room service, speciality dining, events, bars and banqueting. In 2023 he moved to the United Kingdom and joined Copthorne Hotel as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, progressing to Food and Beverage Manager and then Operations Manager.
Being part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts has been a really positive experience for me. I feel proud to be part of an organisation where people and service genuinely matter. Winning the Q2 Internal Service Excellence Award is a very special recognition and I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who has supported me and been part of my journey. For me, good service is about the little things – looking after our guests, supporting each other and taking pride in what we do every day. To be recognised for that is something I’m very proud of and it makes the award even more meaningful.
Ylenia Russo of Grand Hotel Palace Rome takes Property Leader of the Quarter under People. She joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts in December 2016 and has had the opportunity to grow within the company and evolve in her role, moving through all aspects of the Back Office, from Individual Reservations to Groups and Events, and eventually becoming a leader within her team.
Receiving this recognition is a great motivation to keep striving for excellence and to continue on this path. There is still so much to achieve, and I am ready to embrace every new challenge and opportunity that lies ahead.
Norman Ellington, Maintenance Manager at Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen, takes Best Contributor to Profitability. He began his career in the Civil Engineering department of a paperboard mill in Aberdeen, where he worked for 15 years. Following the mill’s closure in 2005 he moved into hospitality maintenance and has since built more than 20 years of experience working with hotels including Thistle, Mercure and Sandman. He joined Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen in April 2022 as Maintenance Manager, and enjoys the variety of the role, where one day can involve planning and delivering a refurbishment project and the next resolving an operational issue that directly affects guests and colleagues.
I’m extremely proud of winning the Best Contributor to Profitability award. Rebuilding the hotel’s bar toilets in-house allowed us to complete the project to a high standard while delivering a significant saving compared with using an external contractor. It was a real achievement and demonstrated how practical engineering solutions can make a direct contribution to the hotel’s profitability.
Rizwana Shahid of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington takes Employee of the Quarter. Her first year with Millennium Hotels and Resorts has been, in her own words, a fantastic learning experience. She has learned a great deal, developed her skills and had the opportunity to work with colleagues she describes as wonderful. Being part of the company and receiving the Q2 award makes her feel extremely proud and grateful, and she calls it a great recognition of the hard work and support she has received throughout her journey so far. It motivates her to continue learning, growing and contributing to the organisation.
Being part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts and the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington team is something I am truly proud of. Winning the Q2 award is a wonderful recognition of the hard work, dedication and commitment I put into my role every day. I feel very grateful to be part of such a supportive team and proud to have my efforts recognised. Daniel Cisneros, Director of Finance at The Biltmore Los Angeles, takes Best Contributor to Profitability. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to the financial and operational success of Millennium Hotels and Resorts. Throughout his journey he has established himself as a trusted business partner to department leaders, using his financial expertise, strategic insight and collaborative leadership to strengthen profitability and operational performance. His ability to translate financial results into actionable business strategies has helped drive accountability, improve efficiencies and support sound decision-making across the property.

Erian Ruiz of The Bostonian Hotel Boston takes Employee and Leader of the Quarter. He is part of the Engineering team and values being part of a team that works together every day to provide excellent service and create the best possible experience for guests while maintaining and improving the property.
I’m truly honored to receive this recognition. I believe success comes from teamwork, dedication, and a willingness to help wherever needed. I’m grateful to work with such a great team, and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and give my best every day.
Gabby Reyes of the United States Corporate Office takes the Best Corporate G.E.T. Initiative Award. She joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts in January of this year and has quickly made a meaningful impact within the Human Resources team. Since joining she has played an important role in strengthening HR operations, with a particular focus on Paycom, process improvement and the development and implementation of standardised HR processes. Her contributions have helped create greater consistency, efficiency and structure across HR operations while providing valuable support to the hotels and teams she serves.
I’ve learned to focus my energy on what I can influence and, most importantly, on the people I have the opportunity to support. I care deeply about what I do, and I believe that even in challenging moments, I can make a difference through empathy, action, and finding solutions.
Gabino Cancino of Millennium Hotel Knickerbocker Chicago takes the Service Excellence Award. He began his journey with Millennium Hotels and Resorts as Banquet Manager and has continued to grow by gaining experience in many areas of the hotel. Throughout the years he has built strong working relationships that have made his career both meaningful and enjoyable. He has gained the respect of all employees and is especially proud of the positive impact he has on the staff and the support he provides to help them succeed.

Rhian Bremner of The McCormick Scottsdale takes the Service Excellence Award, External. She joined the team in March 2026 and quickly established herself as an exceptional Front Desk team member. Since joining she has consistently grown in her role and emerged as a strong leader, setting a positive example for her colleagues every day. She has excelled as a trainer for new employees, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed, and her dedication to outstanding guest service is regularly recognised through positive reviews and verbal praise from guests to management. In recognition of her hard work, commitment and willingness to go above and beyond, she was honoured with the Above and Beyond Award at the hotel’s Employee Appreciation Party in May.
