Colleagues from M Hotel Singapore City Centre and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore walked together at the Community Chest Heartstrings Walk 2026, held on 29 August 2026 at the Event Plaza, Marina Bay Sands. Co-organised by Community Chest and Marina Bay Sands as part of the Sands for Singapore Charity Festival, the walk marked the 15th year of partnership between the two organisations.
The 2026 edition was graced by Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, and brought together around 3,700 participants for a leisurely evening walk around the scenic Marina Bay.
Supporting a More Caring and Inclusive Society
Together with other initiatives, the event raised over S$5.2 million, supporting more than 94,000 social service users through over 300 programmes and projects. These initiatives benefit adults with disabilities, children with special needs, youth-at-risk, families in need, persons with mental health needs, and seniors.
Both hotels are honoured to play a part in supporting this meaningful cause, joining the wider community in support of this year’s theme, Better When We Walk As One. More than completing the walk together, the event provided an opportunity for colleagues and their loved ones to connect with the wider community while contributing to a shared cause. Each step reflected the collective spirit behind the initiative and the importance of coming together to build a more caring and inclusive society.
