The dishes explore the interplay between the fifth and sixth tastes beyond sweet, salty, bitter and sour: umami, which is rich, savoury and satisfying, and kokumi, which brings lingering intensity and complexity. Each course is unified by the infusion of Ex M sauce. Inspired by a 2000-year-old Roman recipe for a marination sauce known as Garum, Ex M sauce has been recognised for its ability to complement a wide range of cuisines.

How Asia Celebrated Father’s Day with Heartfelt Gestures

How Asia Celebrated Father’s Day with Heartfelt Gestures

Three hotels across Asia set aside time to celebrate the fathers on their own teams this year. The Heritage Hotel Manila, M Hotel Singapore City Centre and M Social Hotel Singapore each marked Father’s Day for the employees who are also devoted parents.

The Heritage Hotel Manila

The Heritage Hotel Manila believes that celebrating its people is at the heart of creating a culture of care and excellence. In recognition of the invaluable contributions of employees who embrace the roles of both dedicated professionals and devoted fathers, the hotel held a Father’s Day Special Luncheon on 22 June.

During the luncheon, employees were treated to a specially prepared meal and novelty cupcakes as tokens of gratitude. The celebration was complemented by a short programme dedicated to recognising the commitment, resilience and unwavering support that these fathers bring not only to the workplace but also to their families every day. The hotel’s interns delighted everyone with live musical performances.

The celebration served as a reminder that the hotel’s greatest strength lies in its people. By taking time to honour the fathers of the organisation, the hotel reaffirms its commitment to fostering a workplace where every individual is valued, celebrated and empowered.

M Hotel Singapore City Centre

Behind every great hotel experience is a team of dedicated individuals who give their best every day, and among them are the hotelier dads who balance the demands of hospitality with the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood.

This Father’s Day, the hotel celebrated its dads with a small token of appreciation on 19 June 2026: a jar of honey. A sweet reminder of the hive mentality that keeps the hotel thriving, built on teamwork, support and everyone playing their part to create something special.

Edeline Tiong, General Manager, M Hotel Singapore City Centre, hands a gift to a colleague.

The hotel recognises the dedication and heart these dads bring to work, from early morning shifts and busy festive periods to going the extra mile for guests. Beyond the hotel, they continue to give their love, time and energy to their families.

Colleagues hold up moustache props at the M Hotel Singapore City Centre celebration.
M Social Hotel Singapore

This Father’s Day, M Social Hotel Singapore came together to celebrate the dads in its guests’ lives and on its own team.

Beyond the dining room, HR and property teams marked the occasion closer to home, where every employee who is a father received a mug as a small token of appreciation, a simple thank-you for the dads on the team.

A quiet nod to the everyday balancing act of showing up for work and showing up for family. It is a small gesture, but one that reflects something the hotel tries to carry through the year: recognising its people not just as colleagues, but as individuals with full lives outside of work.
