The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa London has entered a new partnership with The Multibank, a charitable initiative founded by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, that connects businesses with local charities to redistribute surplus non-food items rather than disposing of them.
For its first act under the partnership, The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa London donated 200 duvets to support The Multibank’s mission of ensuring that surplus goods reach families and charities in the local community. The donation was made possible by the hotel’s housekeeping team, led by Executive Head Housekeeper Costina Farrat.
The Multibank operates on a simple principle: redirect rather than discard. By channeling items that hotels and businesses would otherwise throw away, it ensures that essential goods reach those in greatest need across local communities.
