In May 2026, the team from Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand attended TRENZ 2026 in Auckland, the country’s largest international tourism event, connecting with global travel buyers to secure business for the seasons ahead.
A Record Gathering
This year’s event was one of the largest in recent times, with more than 1,200 delegates, including 379 international buyers from 27 countries, and over 16,000 meetings across two and a half days. The Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand team completed more than 200 meetings focused on promoting its hotels and strengthening partnerships.

Strong Feedback and New Itineraries

Recently refurbished properties, including Grand Millennium Auckland, Millennium Hotel Rotorua, Millennium Hotel Queenstown, Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands, and M Social Hotel Auckland, were well received. Key properties were confirmed within major Japan and Korea itineraries for 2026 and 2027, with growing demand for regional destinations such as the Bay of Islands, New Plymouth, and Greymouth.
