Jim Khoo Appointed General Manager of Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur

Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur welcomes Jim Khoo as its newly appointed General Manager, effective 10 February 2026.

Bringing with him a wealth of experience in hospitality, Jim steps into the role with a strong focus on elevating the guest experience while leading the team in delivering memorable stays. From driving performance to nurturing talent, his leadership marks an exciting new chapter for the hotel.

Over 25 Years Across Asia-Pacific

Jim is a seasoned hospitality leader with over 25 years of international experience and a strong track record of managing large, complex hotel operations across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Timor-Leste. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions across established hotel portfolios, including Far East Hospitality, Amara Singapore, Renaissance Sanya, and IHG brands such as Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn.

Jim is recognised for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to work closely with owners and stakeholders to strengthen service standards, drive operational discipline, and deliver sustainable business performance.

Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Palm Springs Hotel in Dili, Timor-Leste, where he increased guest satisfaction, improved commercial performance, and strengthened team engagement.

The appointment was announced by Benedict Ng, Vice President, Operations, SEA, who welcomed Jim to Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur and the Millennium Hotels and Resorts family.
