M Social Hotel Paris earned the prestigious Clef Verte (Green Key) certification for the first time in 2025, joining an elite group of 2,428 properties in France committed to sustainable tourism and dining. Months of dedicated work across every department, from energy optimisation and waste reduction to responsible sourcing and community engagement, made this milestone possible.
But here’s what makes this achievement remarkable: it wasn’t built on a single initiative. It was built on five strategic partnerships, each one addressing a different piece of the sustainability puzzle. This is systems thinking in action.
Every week, organic food scraps from Papillons & Co travel to Les Alchimistes, where they’re transformed into nutrient-rich compost for regenerative agriculture. Ingredients sourced from local producers return to the soil, enriching the very farms that supply the restaurant.
It’s a perfect circle. Plate to earth to farm to plate. Sustainability as ecosystem regeneration.
In 2025, M Social Hotel Paris renewed its partnership with Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles, sponsoring a dedicated beehive to support bee populations and pollinator-friendly ecosystems. Earlier this year, the team celebrated the first honey harvest: natural, artisanal, and now available to guests.
Beyond the product, the initiative raises awareness amongst employees and visitors about the critical role pollinators play in maintaining biodiversity. Education that creates lasting impact.
Through SapoCycle, discarded solid soaps from guest rooms are collected, sanitised, and redistributed to families in need through humanitarian networks worldwide. Environmental responsibility meets human dignity. Landfill waste becomes public health support.
Every small action can create meaningful change. The team at M Social Hotel Paris proves it daily.

Here’s the concept: every time a guest borrows an umbrella, a tree is planted. M Social Hotel Paris has contributed to planting 1,114 mangrove trees in Mozambique as part of a global milestone of one million trees. The partnership with Dripdrop also recovers plastic waste from nature through RePurpose Global.
Rain in Paris becomes reforestation in Mozambique. Small, everyday actions leading to lasting, global impact.
The night was filled with laughter and connection. Lively games, including a dance segment that had the crowd roaring with laughter, brought levity to the evening. Soulful live vocals by the talented Elvira Arul added elegance and emotion to the room.
The Clef Verte certification marks both accomplishment and beginning. It demonstrates what happens when sustainability isn’t treated as a compliance exercise but as a network of strategic partnerships, each one amplifying the others.
For those of us across the Millennium Hotels and Resorts family, as we celebrate 30 years and build toward the next 30, this is the blueprint. M Social Hotel Paris shows us that sustainability is mindset, strategy, and collaboration working together.
