With over 20 years of experience in Cantonese BBQ, Chef Lam brings authentic Hong Kong-style roasting techniques to every dish. Prepared fresh daily using carefully selected ingredients, each roast delivers the classic flavours and quality of traditional Cantonese BBQ, from Char Siew and crispy Siew Yoke to roasted duck.

On the Lunch Menu

The menu runs to timeless Cantonese favourites served over rice or noodles, including Hong Kong Roasted Duck Rice and Wonton Noodles with Honey Barbecued Pork. Lunch is served from 12.00noon to 3.00pm Monday to Friday, and from 11.00am to 3.00pm on weekends and public holidays.

The Room Itself

Lai Ching Yuen presents honest and traditional Cantonese cuisine in a classic and opulent setting. The decor evokes two Chinese garden pavilions joined to form a main dining area, and its red and black accents give the room a sophisticated, glamorous character. The restaurant describes itself as the finest non-halal Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, serving the best dim sum in the heart of Bukit Bintang.
