Welcome, Nick Chia | Hotel Manager
Nick Chia joined Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore as Hotel Manager on 6 January 2026, bringing 29 years of hospitality experience to the role. With 17 years at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms at Orchard Hotel Singapore, Nick is well-versed in our operational standards and values.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nick played a vital role in establishing vaccination centres and isolation facilities, supporting community safety efforts when Singapore needed it most. In his new position, Nick will drive the hotel’s overall performance: strengthening operational excellence, enhancing the guest experience, developing high-performing teams, and supporting strategic and commercial objectives.
Welcome, Lenard Seah | Assistant Director of Human Resources
Lenard Seah joined Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore as Assistant Director of Human Resources on 5 January 2026. With over 18 years in HR, Lenard is passionate about partnering with people to help them grow and reach their full potential.
Outside work, Lenard loves exploring new eateries and café-hopping with his family. If you have great food or coffee recommendations, he’d love to hear them!
Welcome, Pilar Ellis | Director of Sales & Marketing
Pilar Ellis joined Millennium Hotel Knickerbocker Chicago as Director of Sales & Marketing on 5 January 2026, bringing over 25 years of experience in travel and hospitality. She has a strong track record in building high-performing sales teams, driving customer loyalty, and growing market share in the competitive Chicago market.
Pilar joins from Prominence Hospitality Group, where she held responsibility for sales across a group of hotels in the Chicago market. Previously, she led sales and marketing for The Hilton Chicago on Magnificent Mile, surpassing group sales targets and delivering significant RevPAR growth. Her background also includes senior sales leadership roles with The Warwick Allerton Hotel and Trump International Hotel.
Pilar’s deep relationships in the Chicago market, combined with her extensive experience in the downtown area, make her an excellent fit for Millennium Hotel Knickerbocker Chicago.
