Papillons & Co by Beast & Butterflies at M Social Hotel Paris invited guests from 15 to 19 June 2026, to immerse themselves in the heart of Japanese culture through a themed week combining gastronomy, traditions and cultural activities. Designed as a true invitation to travel, the event offered a fully immersive experience celebrating Japanese flavours and the Japanese art of living.
A Limited-Time Menu
For the occasion, the culinary team created a limited-time menu inspired by the great classics of Japanese cuisine. Guests discovered dishes such as yellow pineapple tomato carpaccio enhanced with an umami vinaigrette and black sesame praline, hamachi sashimi with citrus, and beef nigiri served with a yuzu kosho condiment.
The main courses continued this culinary journey with a green vegetable and wakame chirashi, steamed cod with ginger oil and yuzu, and marinated sirloin steak served with a vegetable wok and pak choi.
Taiko Drums and Calligraphy
The week began on Monday, 15 June with a spectacular Japanese taiko drum performance, whose energy and power captivated guests. On Tuesday, 16 June and Thursday, 18 June, a Japanese artist welcomed guests for calligraphy workshops, transcribing their names into Japanese on personalised bookmarks.
Through this initiative, Papillons & Co by Beast & Butterflies reaffirmed its commitment to creating immersive experiences that combine gastronomy, cultural discovery and shared moments, offering guests far more than just a meal.
