Earth Hour Unites Millennium Hotels and Resorts

On 28 March 2026, Millennium Hotels and Resorts came together across more than 10 destinations to mark Earth Hour, each property bringing its own unique approach to the global movement.

What unfolded was more than a symbolic gesture. It was a collective moment of purpose, where individual efforts came together to reflect a shared commitment to a more sustainable future.

Lights Off

As the hour approached, external façades at participating properties were switched off, allowing city skylines to dim in quiet solidarity.

Lobbies and public areas followed, with non-essential lighting gently reduced to lower energy consumption while transforming familiar spaces into calm, intimate settings. In that moment of stillness, each hotel stood as a symbol of a shared effort towards a more conscious future.

Light Up

Guests were invited to take part by lighting candles that cast a warm, ambient glow through public spaces. These small gestures created pockets of connection, bringing people together in a shared experience of reflection and quiet intention.

Culinary Efforts

Selected properties added a thoughtful culinary dimension to the evening, introducing Earth Hour food and beverage offers and themed desserts crafted with sustainability in mind. These culinary moments gave guests a tangible way to engage with the occasion, proof that conscious choices can be as enjoyable as they are meaningful.

These initiatives are part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ broader sustainability journey, where conscious choices, both large and small, add up to lasting impact.
